Welcome to the Barrel House Mamas website. We have been travelling the southeastern US this year, from the mouth of the Mississippi River in New Orleans to our friends in Pipestem, West Virginia, to the likes of Los Angeles. We have had many many adventures, and met many new friends. Thank you all.

For those of you who might not have heard, the Mamas were asked by the producers of the Next Great American Band to come out to the Fox studios in LA for an audition. After a long interview and learning a Beatles tune, we were told that we "had the look, had the sound, but were not 'pop' enough". Sounded good to us! We were happy to come home to our friends and loved ones, just as we are.

For now, we have been writing songs and are ready to record our next album. Look forward to a song about touring from Jane, one about AC Moore from Eleanor, and another about moonlight from Molly.
